Why Sponsor?

We are a non-profit, student-run organization. Our cars are designed and built by our members completely in-house, but in order to meet design standards and produce a competitive vehicle, we need to purchase top quality raw materials, tooling, and parts. We must secure outside finances to fund all aspects of the team, including construction, tooling, supplies, and travel for the car and team. Our funding comes solely from our generous university and corporate sponsors, who donate resources and expertise. Any contributions made will be used to establish our competitive and academic advantage, while giving our members real world experience that they will bring with them into their careers. All contributions are tax-deductible.

As a corporate sponsor, you will contribute to an organization that promotes interpersonal collaboration, leadership development, intense design tactics, and state of the art fabrication techniques. Our team gains experience that will translate directly to professional applications, and at the end of the year we have a product that proves so.

In return, we will represent your company alongside the Penn State Racing team in our monthly newsletter, website, social media accounts, and even on our car. Another benefit of becoming a sponsor is recruiting access. Since our sponsors help to foster an extremely educational environment, we believe they should be the first to have the opportunity to hire our capable members. We frequently meet with our sponsors whether at our shop to showcase our progress or at their facilities to learn about the professional world.

Sponsorship Info

Details about becoming a sponsor, levels of sponsorship, contact information, and more can be found in our 2023-24 Partnership Packet.

As a sponsor, you will be aiding in the development of our team members and our education in ways that simply cannot be achieved without your contributions.

Your company will receive both current and future benefits. All of our sponsors have the ability to recruit students on the team for internship and employment opportunities. Formula SAE team members gain real-world experience through designing the car and working in our machine shop, many of whom hope to take their career to the next level with one of our corporate sponsors. We also look for sponsors that we will one day look for when we go to our full-time careers to act as suppliers for our projects.

All contributions are tax-deductible.
