“I got involved with UU because I always wanted to be a part of a ‘community’ similar to that of a church or congregation, but had issues with a lot of organized religions. UUism matched with my beliefs and allowed me to be a part of a spiritual/moral group while maintaining my support for the LGBT community and continuing to believe in or refute certain aspects of various religions as I wished.“
