Mike O’Halloran is currently an engineering project manager for the Penn State Applied Research Laboratory after serving 30 years in the US Marine Corps. Mike flew for years before becoming an instructor with Marine Aviation Weapons & Tactics Squadron One. Then Mike when on to established and lead the Exercise Design Branch, developing a methodology for serving the exercise needs of the Marine Expeditionary Force. His next post was Kaneohe Hawaii as the commanding officer responsible for the health, welfare, morale, professional development and operational requirements of a 250 person organization of service-members and civilians from fuelers and firefighters to air traffic controllers. After Hawaii, Mike transfer to Japan where he planned and coordinated strategic lift, trans-Pacific squadron movements, exercises and operations, as well as emergent requirements to support numerous disaster relief efforts. his last post was in Germany as the Director of J-7 Joint Trainin, Rreadiness & Exercises. Mike retired in 2013 as a Colonel.
