Welcome! I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University, advised by Dr. Trent Jaeger. I am a member of the Penn State’s Institute for Networking and Security Research (INSR) and of the Systems and Internet Infrastructure Security (SIIS) Laboratory. Since 2014, I am also a collaborator for the Cyber Security Collaborative Research Alliance (CRA), sponsored by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL).
I enjoy building systems. The goal of my research is to build secure, usable, and reliable systems, and to bridge all layers of the software stack from applications to the kernel. My research interest focuses on Security in Mobile Operating Systems. I also have a background in Computer Networks and Cloud Computing.
Previously, I received a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome in Italy.
My industry experience includes a summer internship in 2013 as Graduate Technical Engineer Intern at Intel, a summer internship in 2014 as Graduate Technical Engineer Intern at Intel Labs, a summer internship in 2016 as Software Engineer Intern (Security) at Samsung Research America, and a summer internship in 2017 as Software Engineer Intern (Security) at Google Inc.
