This module provides some of the tools necessary for understanding the moral literacy based approach to ethics, while also providing opportunities to assess and further develop ones own practical skills and abilities in relation to ethical challenges.

After a brief discussion of the general idea behind using the terminology of literacies, we will analyze the general set of skills involved in moral literacy into some more basic elements. These elements will be further elucidated through describing them in general terms and inviting your active participation in some exercises along the way. A final exercise will challenge you to bring the skills you hone through this process to bear on a complex scenario involving several ethical issues.
