- Reading a provided scenario carefully
- Asking yourself a series of questions about the scenario and arriving at some initial decisions concerning the answers to those questions
- Providing your assessment of the situation

This is designed to enable you to grasp the elements of ethical sensitivity more concretely and to assess your own level of development with respect to these abilities. The point here is not so much whether your description of the situation is right or wrong. The important thing is what this description reveals about the acuteness of your sensitivity to the ethical dimensions of the situation.
