My name is Patrick Reilly and I am a recent graduate of Penn State University where I double majored in Finance and Economics. During my time here, I was involved in the Penn State Investment Association, the Economics Association, the Penn State Finance Society and the Asset Management Group. I also worked at a local company called Nittany Notes where I took notes for every lecture of Finance 301 and Supply Chain Management 301 while I was taking the classes. While working there I created practice questions for each exam that were sold to students in the class.
I was also fortunate to be selected as one of 126 interns out of 8,000+ applicants for a 10-week intensive, dynamic internship program, at BNY Mellon, developing leadership and essential career skills by completing challenging real-world projects. I worked within the Asset Servicing division where I was involved with creating efficient processes for clients who use BNY Mellon as their asset custodian. I attended weekly conference calls with BNY Mellon executives, gained experience with large Excel files, designing a Sharepoint website, knowledge about how BNYM operates and the departments within it, etc.
