In his first marathon, Shawn Murdzek ran the Philadelphia Marathon in 2:48:46 last Sunday (Nov 24). The blazing time qualifies him for the Boston Marathon. It is not yet known if his long-distance speed translates to the short bursts of speed needed to outrun a tornado.
