Project Antelope is a global online marketplace that features an expansive collection of diverse works by Indigenous artists and makers worldwide. The process of creating the logo began with discussions with Tailinh Agoyo, Co-founder of Project Antelope, on the company name, its meaning, its mission, and the team’s creative ideas. Kevin took that information and began with thumbnail sketches that formulated new ideas of his own, which he felt represented the company and its goals. He was given a lot of creative freedom and did a tremendous amount of research. Kevin learned as much as he could about antelopes and then applied it to his designs. The Antelope track/footprint stood out as a strong representation of the company and its clients making their marks in the world and in the arts industry. Placing eight of them pointing inward and outward in each of the eight directions, surrounded by the never-ending circle symbolizes movement and global presence. The swatch palette was inspired by colors seen in indigenous arts and cultural objects worldwide, from traditional beadwork to textiles and fine art. In the end, Kevin achieved his goal by creating a simplistic balanced logo for Project Antelope.
