As many of you have likely heard, due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, the university has made the decision to migrate classes online for the time being. This is currently planned through April 3rd. Unfortunately, this means that both the club’s trip to Charlotte for the regionals and the Penn State Pokémon Challenge (PSPC) have been affected. Since the regionals is not controlled by the club, we have no way to reschedule that trip. Therefore it is in effect cancelled. If you had already registered for the tournament, the organizers are offering full refunds, so please reach out to them. In regards to PSPC, the club officers have met and determined the best option for the event is to delay it until the fall semester. What this means for the PSPC of Spring 2021 is currently unknown. We are also looking to postpone elections to a later meeting in the semester. We apologize for any inconvenience this has created and ask that everyone does their best to remain healthy.

Wishing you the best,

The Pokémon Society at Penn State
