Dr. Comer graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology and minor in business from Penn State in 2011 and then held the position of research technician for the PRO Health Lab from August 2011 through December 2012. She received her M.D. in 2017 from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also received her MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2022. Dr. Comer is currently a general surgery resident physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA.
