Law schools do not have a preferred undergraduate major. In fact, the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) notes that a single, “best” prelaw curriculum cannot be identified. Accordingly, you should choose academic disciplines that interest you most, independent of what you think a law school might want to see. You should, however, choose an academic path that emphasizes writing, research, and analytical thinking.
