This digital painting was a study on guiding the viewer’s attention. The composition leads the viewer’s eyes in a C shape, starting from the lily pads, going through the logs, and eventually ending up at the magnolia flowers. I also used contrast, giving the bright white flowers a dark blue backdrop behind them.
