Abstract:
One of the key things that allows humans to live on Earth is the fact that Earth is inside the Sun’s habitable zone. Our Sun is not the only sun capable of inhabiting life. Each sun in every solar system has a specific habitable zone, which is dependent on the flux of the planets around it in relation to its sun. The habitable zone is believed to be approximately 0.5-1.1 factors of the flux of our Sun. Using the Extrasolar Planets Encyclopedia, I have calculated the flux of every planet-sun pair in the database, given that they have all the data necessary and the accompanying plot shows those planets.
