Volunteer Opportunities (Volunteer Portal)
- Renamed and updated page title and metadata on calendars to remove Master Gardener specific references as to not alienate Master Watershed Volunteers
- Example: Master Gardener Volunteer Opportunities is now Extension Volunteer Opportunities or simply Volunteer Opportunities.
Volunteer Opportunities (Sharing Portal)
- New volunteer opportunities set to auto approve(testing).
- Future: Looking at setting up approvals based on role:
- County administrators -> Auto approve
- Volunteer Leader -> County Administrator Approval Needed
- Create a new volunteer opportunity now has additional options:
- Upload Image thumbnail (Not shown on day-of-the-month calendar views)
- Primary Impact Area field removed
- Registration Start Date added – This is an optional field that allows volunteers to only sign up after the date specified.
- Create new location
- Location name added (not required)
- Location Type added (required) – This will toggle if this is an in-person or virtual event. Virtual events remove the requirements for street, city, state, postal code
Organizations Added:
- Added “Statewide Master Watershed Stewards” and provided access to MWS state admins
- Note: Master Gardeners statewide program is currently labeled “State Program.” A support ticket is pending to rename to Statewide Master Gardeners
Activity Feed:
- Admins can now post “Resource” activity types
