2014 Design Project
Dean Ripley is a recent graduate of Drexel University, with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, he received funding from the PSGC while working on an Origami Solar Array for CubeSats at Drexel. The goal of this project was to develop a small scale, modular array capable of launching with and operating on a CubeSat of standard dimensions. Dean will be joining the In-Space Propulsion team at SpaceX in the summer of 2015.
