2010 PSGC Fellowship
Jennifer Rygel received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Penn State, and was a PSGC Fellowship recipient in 2010. Her research focused on studying the local structure of cerium in the phosphate glass network, and investigating their durability, corrosion behavior, and radiation damage resistance. She is now a research scientist at Corning Incorporated, one of the world’s leading innovators in materials science.
