2012 NASA Research Associate
Swarna Sinah was a research associate at the NASA Ames Academy for Space Exploration in 2012. During her time there, she worked on two projects, LADEE (Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer) and SALEE (Sampling and Analyzing Liquid Extreme Environments). Before her research at NASA, Swarna was also a MIT Space Systems Laboratory Intern in 2011. She graduated from Penn State with a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering, and a B.S. degree in Mathematics. Currently, Swarna is an associate engineer at Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. company that designs, manufactures, and services aircraft engines and auxiliary power units.
