Spring 2024 Research Conference Information:

Students can present posters from both empirical and conceptual projects. We encourage students to look for inspiration from their Psychology 301 and English 202A classes, as well as from their research labs. The only requirement for presenting is that students utilize a faculty mentor to help them through the process of creating the poster. There is a $5 fee for entering the conference, and there may be travel funding available through Psi Chi as well as through the College of Liberal Arts to help students get to and from the conference. Presenting at conferences like this one gives you the opportunity to share your research ideas with faculty members and students from other campuses. It allows you to investigate topics that interest you in hopes that you will find research interests that you pursue in graduate school. It also gives you a more casual outlet to present your research but still gives you a great resume and CV builder.
