Penn State Kines Club
Purpose:
Provide Penn State Kinesiology students a forum of extracurricular opportunities: leadership, hands-on experience, networking, and a voice for students at the college and university level.
Mission Statement:
The Penn State Kinesiology Club is for undergraduate students and do not have to be in the Kinesiology major. The purpose of the club is to provide students with a forum of extracurricular activities including leadership opportunities, hands on experience, networking seminars, certification programs, outlets for physical activity, educational sessions, and a voice for the kinesiology students at the departmental and college level, all while promoting “professional responsibility” amongst the club members.
The Kines Club and EiMOC
The students members and leaders of the Kines Club are an integral part of the success of our EiMOC program. Student leaders help with recruiting volunteers, helping to create awareness of activities and provide the spirit and enthusiasm for our initiative. Kines club members have served as exercise leaders, assisted with the Deans’ Walk and walked in the Homecoming parade to represent EiM.
