Thanks to the generous support from the Student Activity Fund and Penn State Mont Alto Alumni Society, students were able to enjoy an interactive, fun evening learning the do’s and don’ts of formal dining, which they will more than likely need as they prepare for upcoming interviews and professional work beyond college…

On November 1st, 18 students dressed in business-professional or business-casual attire and joined Penn State alumni Sandra Offutt and Eric Walker for a formal four-course meal.  Students received tips and strategies on napkin placement, ordering food, utensils to use, body language, and appropriate dinner conversation topics. The evening was filled with learning and laughter, thanks to the facilitator, Angela Lynch, also a Penn State alumni.
