Fall Regional Conference 2022

This fall from October 28th to October 31st🗓 we had the pleasure of bringing 22 wonderful engineers ⚙️ to the annual fall regional conference in Bethesda, Maryland. During our time there we were able to attend professional workshops , network with other chapters/companies, volunteer at a medical research center, and get internships/co-ops/full-time offers. Thank you to NSBE for having us 🖤 and we look forward to being at the next fall regional conference! STAY TWO HYPE ✌️

Regional Leadership Conference 2022

This summer our newly elected board members went to College Park, Maryland to represent the Penn State NSBE chapter and learn more about their individual positions at the Region 2 leadership conference. We were also able to network with other chapters from the Region. Our Vice President, Jalynn Burruss also serves on the Region 2 NSBE. Her and Chinelolum Anonyuo, The Penn State Chapter President, have been striving to make sure each board member in The Penn State Chapter feels welcome, and ready to help our chapter grow in the Regional and National level.

National Conference 2022 #NSBE48

From March 22nd to March 26th 🗓 we had the pleasure of bringing 48 wonderful engineers ⚙️ to the 48th NSBE National Convention in Anaheim, California. During our time there we were able to attend professional workshops , network with other chapters/companies, volunteer at a food bank , and get internships/co-ops/full-time offers . Thank you to NSBE for having us 🖤 and we look forward to being at the next conference! STAY TWO HYPE ✌️

Regional Leadership Conference 2019

This summer, our executive board had a wonderful time at RLC in Herndon, VA. Our Vice President, Kevin Afoakwah says that RCL was, “an excellent event giving Executive Board members throughout the region insight on ways for them to be leaders in their own individuals chapters and way to exemplify that through various events”. This year, three of our chapter members are serving as Region II Chairpeople. Our former Chapter President, Abdoulaye Diallo, is the 2019-2020 Academic Excellence Chair. Jamir Walker is serving as our End Zone Coordinator and Emma Dodoo is serving as the 2019-2020 Communications Chair.

National Convention 2019

Our NSBE Chapter had a great time this year at #NSBE45 in Detroit, MI. We spent five days in downtown Detroit going in and out of the Cobo Center meeting with various companies and “securing the bag“. This year, we were fortunate enough to tour one of Ford’s offices meeting with several engineers learning about different career routes and daily tasks of engineers.
