Portfolio

This was the final project of our class. We worked towards a portfolio that would showcase our projects in an interesting way so this is a book template that will be printed out for our final presentation. For this I focused on a lot of diagonal patterns and interesting text placement. I also wanted to use a font no one has seen before as to catch the eye of someone. I also wanted the background color to be simple so I stuck with light gradients so eyes would be drawn to the text and projects.

Sunset

This project we focused on the idea of making a rather large physical print of a project that we complete. For this I was stuck between a few ideas until I finally choose this one. The idea behind this is that I took the silhouette skyline of my home city and put it in front of four different sun settings. I choose this because this city is the city I was born and raised in so it has significant meaning to me and every day is a new day with a new sunset and sunrise and I felt that that was a lesson to be told without words. Just a few images so that you really have to think about the image to understand why it was created.
