For this assignment, I messed around in photoshop creating variations of the same image. I chose to use a photo of Ingrid Bergman from Casablanca, one of the most famous and one of the best noir films ever created. Noir literally means “black” in French, and that’s because noir films sprung from the classic black and white of classic cinema, and the fact that the stories were usually dark, or black. I chose a black and white theme to really show off the capabilities of photoshop.
