Unity Design

This was my first time working in InDesign. It reminds me a lot of illustrator, it just seems a lot more technical for lack of a better term. It was daunting, but after some practice I got the hang of it.

Casablanca

For this assignment, I messed around in photoshop creating variations of the same image. I chose to use a photo of Ingrid Bergman from Casablanca, one of the most famous and one of the best noir films ever created. Noir literally means “black” in French, and that’s because noir films sprung from the classic black […]

Dali and his weird Cat

This was another fun little assignment that helped me understand photoshop more. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out why every time I used to the round rectangle tool it gave me a normal rectangle, it’s just something I’m going to have to figure out in the future.

Amelia 2020

This was the last thing I’d ever expect to do in photoshop, and it honestly seemed comical to me at first, but it was honestly a very effective way to learn how to edit things and manipulate photos to make them however I want to make them.

4 Photos

The baby photo was me at 3 years old. The one of me in the playboy hoodie is me at 18. I was a very chubby baby, honestly surprised I’m not chubby anymore. The other 2 photos are interesting to me. I looked up random photos and found the one with the sky half red […]

Dichotomy of Elements

For this composition, I considered which elements I wanted to present and how I wanted to present them. I was thinking about Avatar, the Last Airbender, a show about elements, where the main 4 elements are air, water, earth, and fire. This show influenced our society’s view on “elements” and if you ask most people […]

Fine Line Art

Today, I used illustrator to string together some interesting line art. This has so far been the most difficult thing that I’ve done with illustrator, as you can probably tell with the quality of the work. Making straight up artwork isn’t easy for me, I’m much better when it comes to editing things.
