Brief Description of Research ProjectThe objectives of this proposed effort are to develop:
(1) Condition monitoring and forecasting capabilities that exploit continuously-sensed data technologies;
(2) Algorithms that incorporate continuously-sensed asset condition states and updated forecasts in strategic planning of maintenance, repair and rehabilitation options and their implementation prioritizations;
(3) Methods that explicitly account for uncertainty in state predictions; and
(4) Tools that can be deployed in practice for large, complex roadway networks.
