While this story is scary to watch as it develops over time, I agree with you that US citizens are not the ones who have to fear for their lives. We have seen this several times in the past, where brutal wars are fought on Middle Eastern territory and these citizens are the ones forced to be the casualties of war. I am thankful that I do not live a life where I am scared if I will even make it to the next morning, but unfortunately this is a reality for many families in the world, and the lack of consideration for non-American innocent lives is very concerning.
