- Due: Review E-portfolio assignment details and E-portfolio materials posted in the Unit 8 folder on ANGEL
- Due: Comment on your blogging group members’ Civic Issues posts, if you didn’t in class on Friday
- In class: Introduce the E-portfolio assignment
Wednesday, April 17 (318 Sackett)
- In class: Review sample E-portfolios
- Advocacy Projects due at 5:00 p.m. (submit in ANGEL dropbox along with cover sheet)
Friday, April 19 (318 Sackett)
- Due: Select a platform for your portfolio and sign up for an account
- Due: Post (1) the link to the account you’vecreated, (2) a brief description of your target audience and the message you wish to communicate about yourself, and (3) an initial list of materials you plan to revise and include in your e-Portfolio (post in WIP category)
In class: Advocacy Project “Show and Tell.” To prepare for this, you should do the following:
- If you made a video, please bring a hard copy of your cover sheet to class
- If you made a poster, please print a hard copy of your poser and a hard copy of your cover sheet. Bring all materials to class. (You could print your posters at Kinkos, the Print Center in the HUB, etc.)
- If you wrote articles, please print hard copies and bring them to class. Also bring a hard copy of your cover sheet.
In addition, our class will be staffing a table at the Advocacy Fair. Here is the schedule of volunteers:
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. — Gwen & Anne
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. — Maddie, Ammara, Porche & Anne
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. — Jess & Anne
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. — Patrick, Pavara, Riley, & Anne
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. — Francis, Mike, Jeff, & Anne
