Thesis- Youtube first was opened on February 14, 2005, but the first video wasn’t uploaded until April 23 which was “Me at the zoo” uploaded by Youtube’s co-founder. Now, about 5 billion videos are watched and posted daily. 1st body )Youtube is a civil artifact because it has created a community of all ages- to watch, post or do as they please to broadcast whatever they want.
-It has become commonplace for a plethora of genres and content such as – entertainment, music, fashion/beauty, politics, education, etc
2nd body ) Being that anything can be expressed, there has been 1 Billion accounts that can post anything they please
Many hashtags that have been created from social media platforms such as Twitter or Instagram- have made their way to Youtube whether it has a positive or negative connotation behind it.
3rd body ) Youtube can sometimes not be logical or credible, depending on the content that is uploaded, but nevertheless- it evokes emotions to which we can express through comments.
Conclusion) Youtube set out for a place to post videos but established a community for all. It’s a platform for people to be their true self and now has a worldwide presence and society for all to enjoy the usage of.
