For this Advocacy project, I want to create an advert that would call for increased awareness of Vaccinations positives and the harm that not vaccinating you kids can have. Finding a corresponding group was very easy because well, this is a common sense topic.
I found the AAP –
The AAP, short for American Academy of Pediatrics, is “an organization of 67,000 pediatricians committed to the optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.” as stated on their about us page.
They have the audience of the medical world, with the ability to reach out to the rest of the world with use of adverts. They also publish medical journals and magazines, prime places for adverts. The problem may come when they don’t get support from crazy online anti-vaxxers whom may have blocked their content. They also have a bad reputation among anti-circumcision advocates.
