Last time I wrote about the huge trend tag called Draw My Life. Now I am going to go into more detail on what I think is going to be the next trend on YouTube; Live Google Hangouts with a famous YouTuber or two and some of their friends.
I think this will become very popular because fans always want to learn more about their favorite YouTuber. With a Live Google Hangout it would almost be like talking to them! Fans get to ask questions in the side bar and sometimes a YouTuber would pick out a question and answer it! This happened to me yesterday! I was watching Swoozies’ live hangout with two other people and I asked a question about the dog in the background and one of the guys picked up his dog and showed it to the camera and told us a little bit about her! I was very excited that my question was picked, this hangout was an hour long and in that hour 23,000 questions/comments were made!
Google Hangout would help get a lot of promotion for some people that aren’t very popular on YouTube yet. All they would have to do is try and get a YouTuber to do a hangout with them and that publicity would then get people start subscribing to their channel and liking their videos. Most people are always trying to get more subscribers to their channel, and Google Hangout would work wonders on their popularity on the internet!
Next week, I am going to go more into detail of the word YouTuber and term YouTube Community. I recently realized that some people may not be as obsessed with YouTube as I am, so some of my terms may be different towards whomever is reading my passion blogs.
