Welcome to the Radiation-induced Defects & MAterials Performance (RDMAP) Lab!  Here, we study the structure, chemistry, and kinetics of defects in nuclear materials by combining scanning transmission electron microscopy, atom probe tomography, and modeling. Based on the fundamental understanding of defect evolution, we aim to develop the “roadmap” for designing materials with superior performance for advanced reactors and other nuclear technologies.
