About

Hello! My name is Rebecca Heiser. I love to design solutions to complex problems through creativity and data analysis. As the Lead Instructional Designer for Penn State’s Lifelong Learning and Adult Education online graduate program and the Applied Research Coordinator with World Campus, I actively embed pedagogical strategies and design elements to create meaningful learning experiences for diverse learners. Also, I’m pursuing a doctorate in Distance Education from Athabasca University.

On this site, I share resources, research, and articles that pertain to the instructional design and distance education landscape.

Thank you for visiting and discovering more about my interests in distance education, design, theory, instruction, and learning.
