Designing next-generation materials

The Data-Driven Materials Design group uses modern data science methods together with insights from expert knowledge to develop better materials in less time and with less material and energy waste. We consider materials from atomic scale to continuum: 2D layered materials, biomaterials and ferroelectric polymers, mesoscale architected materials, and structural materials.
