December 1 – Religious Studies Reads Book Club Event
Religious Studies Reads is presenting its book choice for the fall semester, along with an event featuring the author! The book, titled, “Lawful Sins: Abortion Rights and Reproductive Governance in Mexico,” touches on the connections between women’s rights and religion – a very serious and somewhat touchy subject. Religious Studies Reads understands this and invites an open discussion surrounding the book and the topic with the author, Elyse Ona Singer, herself. We recommend that you read the book which you can purchase here, before the discussion. For students, we also have some free copies available.
