Xiaofei Lu

Xiaofei Lu is professor of Applied Linguistics and Asian Studies at The Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include corpus linguistics, computer assisted language learning, English for Academic Purposes, second language acquisition, and second language writing. He is the author of Corpus Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition: Perspective, Issues, and Findings (2022, Routledge) and Computational Methods for Corpus Annotation and Analysis (2014, Springer) and co-editor of Computational and Corpus Approaches to Chinese Language Learning (2019, Springer). His work has appeared in Applied Linguistics, Assessing Writing, Behavior Research Methods, Computer Assisted Language Learning, Educational Researcher, English for Specific Purposes, International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Journal of Second Language Writing, Language Learning & Technology, Language Teaching Research, Language Testing, ReCALL, System, TESOL Quarterly, and The Modern Language Journal, among others.
