Smart Keyboard For The Disabled

This product consists of two hardware components the headset and the keyboard.
The keyboard is made from an acrylic sheet on which the keys are engraved.
This keyboard is touch interfaced with the help of lasers.
This allows those users who are visually impaired to run their hands on the keyboard to distinguish between the various keys.
The keyboard also comes with an in-built speaker which can be used to provide text data via audio.
The product comes with a virtual keyboard software and a headset as well. The headset has a gyroscope attached to it.
Those users having difficulty/ restricted motor skills or other limitations degrading their skills to express themselves can make use of this module. Particular signal can be recognized and during the occurrence of thought patterns that invokes these signals, the headset triggers the programmed mental command, which in this case is select.
The user can select a key using a 3rd select mental command.
These commands will have to be trained before the headset is used for the keyboard.
