Dr. Raymond Najjar is the director of the REU program.

Dr. Natasha Miles is the co-director of the REU program.

 

The director and co-director coordinate the overall activities of the REU program and, working closely with faculty mentors, place emphasis on recruiting students interested in climate science. They match students’ interests with the existing research opportunities that individual faculty members have open. Throughout the REU program, Drs. Najjar and Miles organize seminars and workshops to advance the professional development of the REU students.
