Cisco Jabber issues

For those in the PSU community working remotely during the stay at home orders, you probably noticed some issues with Cisco Jabber Unified Communications late last week.

While the issues that were causing functionality problems last week have been resolved, certificates were updated last night which may have created another issue for you.

If you’re getting a certificate error when trying to login to Cisco Jabber now, you may need to perform a client reset. The instructions to perform the reset are located here.

SupportWorld Live 2020!

Based on the work I have done for HDI Steel City and connections I have made within the IT Support Industry, I was honored to be asked to be part of a planning committee to help choose the speaker sessions for SupportWorld Live 2020. It’s the conference that was previously known as HDI Conference & Expo, an annual conference for support professionals that bounces between East & West coasts from year to year.

I will be heading to Las Vegas for this year’s inaugural SupportWorld Live conference. More information about the conference can be found on the conference website. I’ve been to several HDI Conference & Expo events over the years and they have easily been some of the best conferences I have ever attended. I am sure SupportWorld Live will also live up to its potential!
