Did you know the library hosts game nights? Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month the library hosts a game night full of entertaining multiplayer Nintendo Switch nights or board games that keep students laughing.

Chad explains that the game nights in the library pose “wonderful bonding opportunities” for students to get to know one another in a relaxed setting.

With a large selection of games, ones that could keep us busy for days, there’s a game for everyone to play and enjoy.

One of Josh Heller’s favorite moments from game nights is “Monty Mole losing” after an intense game of Mario Party took place.

According to Chad, game nights might eventually have themes if enough people attend guiding our activities for the night.

It doesn’t stop with just board games or switch games as Zach Diamond elaborates that game nights for him were a “good intro into the VR oculus.”

Personally, I find game nights are Penn State’s way of giving back to the students for the hard work they do in college and as a way to reward yourself by hanging out with friends or even meeting new ones.

Though one of the best feelings during game night which I think can be felt throughout the room is “the shock factor when playing games says Jacob Levendosky,” which is always keeping everyone on their toes.

Whether its tense fights with Super Smash Bros or contemplating persuasion tactics in Trial by Trolley, game nights are always a fun option to get involved and have a good time.
