Below, please find a list of resources that you may utilize to fulfill your First Aid & CPR Certification requirement. You must be current with both certifications at the time you start your internship; however, proof of current certification is due by the deadline date for the RPTM internship.
Students are required to be current in both Basic First Aid and Adult CPR. If you have both Infant and Adult CPR, that is fine. Also, if you have any other certifications that are more comprehensive than those required, i.e., Wilderness First Responder, than those certifications can serve to meet the basic certification requirements. Copies of both sides of your certification cards serve as “proof” of certification when you submit your paperwork.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must enroll in a course that requires “hands-on” practice of CPR/First Aid procedures and techniques.
