About

An experienced architect and educator with expertise in the analysis, design, and development of large-scale software-intensive systems, leveraging architecture to optimize delivery of value in globally distributed agile and lean development environments, and the use of principles of systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, and human-centered design to architect and develop artificial intelligence systems that are safe, secure, and trustworthy. My research focuses on the improvement of these practices and I have taught related courses to engineers and project managers at many prestigious academic, government and industry organizations worldwide. I also serve as an entrepreneurial coach and mentor to student and faculty entrepreneurial teams and am an instructor in the Mid-Atlantic NSF I-Corps program.
