Thanks for your interest in the Penn State Rubik’s Cube Club!
Founded in 2019, our club gives cubers of all levels at University Park a place to talk, learn, compete, and have fun.
From our OrgCentral page:
This club was created for people all across the spectrum of speed solving! If you are someone who has no prior experience in solving the Rubik’s cube this club can teach you (it’s not as hard as it looks). On the other hand if you are someone who is experienced in speed solving we will hold miniature competitions so you can test your skills against other group members. Finally if you are somewhat experienced but want to become faster, we can show walk-through solves and advanced tips.
This club does not focus mainly on the well known 3×3 cube but rather on any form of puzzle similar to it. This includes “cubes” from 2×2… to …7×7 and greater. Also included are “cubes” like the Skewb, Square-1, and Pyraminx. Feel free to bring any cubes you have to club meetings. The officers will also provide cubes to use at meetings as well.
Meetings take place in Thomas 120 at 6:00 pm nearly every Friday. Feel free to stop by!
