He is an enthusiastic 3D Print artist and taught Blender and Tinkercad classes for the College of Medicine Library while integrating this into his own work. He served for many years on the board of Lebanon Valley Council on the Arts and promoted Community Arts through the Lebanon First Friday Art Walk. Following his retirement from Penn State, in January 2024 he has relocated to Moon Township near Pittsburgh, where he plans to continue creating art and music.
