COVID-19

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. We have postponed the symposium for 2 years because we have wanted it to be an in-person event.

Protocols for the conference will follow Penn State campus guidance at the time of the event, which may change.  Current guidance does not require masks or testing for any participants.

The organizing committees want our attendees to feel safe, and are exploring options for masking and testing within Penn State guidance.

While the conference will not be fully hybrid, we have an option for limited remote participation for those who cannot or do not feel safe attending conferences in person, including the opportunity to observe the plenary sessions, and possibly the breakout sessions, over livestream.
