Mentorship Pairings

Mentorship pairings are the cornerstone of the Career Development Program. In being matched with an upperclass Scholar with experience in their field of interest, underclassmen have the opportunity to receive advice from people who have firsthand experience doing exactly what it is they hope to do one day. Mentors are available to help mentees review their resumes, schedule courses, find research positions and internships, and provide general career development counsel.

Mentor/mentee pairings are made based on mentees’ responses to a survey and a mentor’s resume in order to ensure an overlapping of interests and that each party involved gets as much as possible out of the program.
