Surface tension is impacted by the identity of the substances forming the surface, whether they be between gas phase and solution phases or between a liquid and a vacuum.  The characteristics of a polymeric liquid, such as polymer stiffness, can have a significant impact on the surface tension. In this tutorial, we will explain how to calculate the interfacial tension and surface energy for a polymer using Gromacs.
