Hi, My name is Deanna Cipolla. I’m from Brooklyn, New York & I’m a sophomore. I am in the middle of transferring from a photography major to a AD/PR major. Hopefully, I’ll be officially able to declare that next year. I am the first person in my family to go to Penn State & also the first person to go away to college.
I am not a science person. I hated it in high school & I still pretty much hate it now. I already have two of my required science classes completed, so I’m beyond happy that I am almost at the point of completing them all. I am not a science major because I have no interest in science whatsoever. I’ve chosen every science gen ed based off of whether I heard it was easy. I actually am kind of excited for this class though because of all the interesting topics on the syllabus, so I am trying to keep an open mind.
I actually really like blogging & already write for the Penn State music website State in the Real: www.stateinthereal.com . A little promotion never hurt anybody.
Just wanted to say that I think we can all agree with the title of your blog. This is my second science course here at Penn State and I have already realized how bad I am at science and this course NEEDS to be easy. With a course description like this I like our chances of doing all right though.
Hi Deanna! First of all, I absolutely love the image you chose for your post. The aliens from Toy Story are my favorite! Your reasons for taking this course are pretty much the same as mine. Hopefully this class won’t be too bad! I’m also a sophomore pursing AD/PR, specifically the PR track. I don’t know if you’ve heard of the PRSSA organization on campus, but I think it’s something you’d be interested in. We have a communications committee that focus on writing news letters and blogging. Definitely check it out if you’re interested! http://pennstateprssa.com/
