Italian food is simple, tasty and zesty. You can whip up a mouth-watering meal with only a few ingredients, in no time, putting a delectable dinner on the table with a minimum of stress and maximum of taste and the best part is its huge variety of shapes, textures and flavors
I know this might sound funny but I do have a passion for pasta, I mean its pasta, who wouldn’t love making it to their own taste.Pasta is pretty much my favorite ingredient to cook with. Whenever anyone asks me what my favorite thing to make is, I always say pasta Because it is so incredibly versatile and it’s a great base to just add anything to. I think of pasta like a must learn meal for everyone cause you can never go wrong. Pasta itself, I feel, can evoke so many different emotions. Whether it be a memory of using pasta for an art project or even making that first grown-up meal in your first apartment. I know that for me, whenever I make pasta it gives me a sense of comfort cause I know I can never go wrong and I know what I’m consuming instead of going for fast foods that no one knows what being put inside and it helps me feel connected with people in my life because it brings them around the table. Memories are made and shared as you sit down with friends and family at that table with a deliciously comforting pasta dish that brought everyone together.
I always tell people that the secret to having a good pasta comes from your stock and the richness from the olive oil and black olives being used. Fennel is an untraditional addition, but I am a big fan of the stuff and really like the subtle sweetness it provides. Anytime I make pasta(only meal I can cook) I always make sure I use a small pot cause I don’t over eat it cause of how good it tastes.
Now the way I make my pasta is a little bit different because I don’t like garlic nor cheese, I know right, how can I love Italian meals and not like cheese? I guess that’s why pasta is a versatile food, you can cook it the way you love and never miss. I love to garnish my pasta with fresh basil and mixed vegetables to get make sure its a balanced meal and of course alongside with my heavy protein.
