Mac Setup

  1. Login to https://office.psu.edu .
  2. Select “Install Office apps” to download a copy of Microsoft Office.

  3. Follow the steps on the screen.
  4. When finished installing Office, please refer to the following Knowledgebase article on activating Outlook: https://pennstate.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0011346 .

Mac Setup – Mac Mail

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click on “internet accounts” (Should be the third line down)
  3. Find “Exchange” in the account types
  4. Put in your name, your abc123@psu.edu email address, your Penn State password, and click “sign in.”
  5. Next, you should get a prompt for internal and external URLs. Type in https://Outlook.office365.com in for both the internal and external URLs and click “sign in.”
  6. You should be asked which apps you want to connect with your Penn State Office 365 account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes).  Make sure to select “Mail” and “Calendar” and any other apps you want to use.
